Glock 19 Recoil Spring Kit - I wasn't too convinced about adding an aftermarket guide rod but after seeing my better half at the range with her Glock 17 I thought it would be worth a try I gave her a SS with a 17lb spring. Guide Rod ordered. My girlfriend likes the way the rifle is cycled and although the weight difference isn't as great as a tungsten guide rod, it helped make recoil and aiming more comfortable. This was my first order. Shipping was fast and communication was great throughout the process.
Good build, well made and came out almost immediately. I had trouble compressing the spring at first. With a little force, I was able to remove the retaining washer. I found some lokite on the guide rod under the retaining screw. It was hanging the washer without moving it. The rest of the green has been broken and is working fine now. You may want to check this or warn your customers. I thought it was broken at first.

I was very satisfied and was able to install it without any problems. I noticed that the springs are not painted due to the different weights and have a retaining washer that is not shown in the picture. After seeing this I thought I would weigh it on a digital scale and it weighed 25.6 grams so I moved to the assembly and weighed it on a digital pint and it read 28.3 instead of 25.6. and After hundreds of rounds I'm pretty much done. Happy with the parts working perfectly with my gun.. but I highly recommend this upgrade.
Glock Oem Factory Guide Rod Recoil Spring Gen 3 Glock 19 23 Sp02457 Pf940c
It looks like it hasn't been shot yet, but the only reason for 4 stars was because of what was commented earlier: there was a hard red lock on the edge that goes into the frame. Before getting the feeling of a soft fall. It seems to be working manually now, but I'll test it tomorrow. If it works well, the review will change to 5 stars. Below 4 if there is a problem.
40 S&W G22 with a 20 lb recoil spring eliminates high speed slide to frame shock and FTF that occurs when the light is mounted on a Gen 3 rail. These issues were caused by the inadequate 17-pound recoil spring shared with the 9mm G17. It also reduces sensation. The added weight and stiffness of the stainless guide rods is a nice bonus.
Very well made and seems to be made of good quality materials. Better than OEM Glock recoil spring assembly for optimized custom G17 builds.
I gained 17 pounds. "Combat recoil spring" for Glock 17, Gen 4. I cleaned it, greased it, and installed it in my glove box. Gen 4 requires an "Adapter Ring". It looked like it was rubbing because when I turned the slide assembly by hand, it felt and sounded a bit like rubbing and rubbing. I then checked the slide, lower frame housing and barrel and found no issues. The spring was rubbed along the guide rod.
Short Tip Stainless Steel Guide Rod For Glock 19 Gen 3 18 Lb Spring
More than 100 shots were fired (medium powder). It was perfectly executed. Casing emissions were good, climbing was excellent, and recoil seemed to be reduced slightly.
Popping out of the holster, my controlled pair was accurate. Also consistently acquiring targets quickly and making accurate shots (15 yards) while performing tactical speed drills.
The 18lb stainless steel competition guide rod for the Gen 3 G19 ... not only did it arrive a day early, it's a must have for every Glock handgun. I can feel a difference/improvement in overall balance on the 19th.
